Calling all South African entrepreneurs to create a free blog
February 5, 2010 in Business Opportunities by Anton Koekemoer
SocialPress, a business social network for South African entrepreneurs will be launching a new feature early next week where members can create their own free blog on the SocialPress network. With this new feature, anyone can become a super blog author!
The new blog will have a dedicated subdomain listed on the SocialPress network such as http://yourblogname.socialpress.co.za. Once you create a blog, all the new blog posts you create on your blog will be visible on the activity stream listed on the home page.
You will also be able to choose a theme and a range of plugins to make your life easier as a super blogger.
Benefits of a blog

- Reach new market demographics.
- Blogs are simple to use and with RSS feeds, they are effective in reaching large numbers of people.
- Blogging is branding. Regular posts will reach your market segments and make them aware of your products and services.
- Blogs convey authority. You will quickly be viewed as an expert and a market leader by readers.
- Search engines love blogs with their regular growth in content and natural link rich format.
- Blog marketing is also a powerful search engine optimization tool which can be used to dramatically improve website rankings.
- Information is broadcast at an amazing rate and picked equally quickly by the search engines.
- Feedback can be almost immediate and businesses can find out right away what people think of their company, products and ideas.
- Add a human face to your company and create a corporate personality.
The free blog feature will only be available to registered members of SocialPress so create your free SocialPress account now so that you can start blogging and let the world know about your thoughts!
